Perfect for a short stay

Room was clean, swimming pools were nice, small convenience store in hotel, breakfast included

Staff weren’t overly friendly. On day of check out we had 4 different staff knock on the door between 8am and 11am wanting to clean the room even though we were checking out.

There was indoor pool with jacuzzi, outdoor pool, and jacuzzi on roof. You can control aircondition in room in 3 settings.

Sauna wasn't working, elevators were kinda strange - stopping for people who wants to go down even if you are going up, when you call elevator on top floor, most of the time it came full, and sometimes the elevator "unselected" my choice. Also opening hours to pools and terace were different each day, receptionist told me different time than was on the sign next to them, and sometimes i saw people there 2h after closing time. Even in breakfast there was always same choice. After week, i tried all combinations, but still had to retake same ones, wasnt happy about it. In the room tv wasnt working. And cleaning stuff wasnt sweeping under beds, i saw same pieces of small rubish whole week under my bed

Staff, breakfast are great. Sleep was disturbed everynight by teenagers staying in the hotel

Staff is very polite and nice. Starting from receptionist to room service to kitchen service, everyone was very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 5 days, it was the same. Multiple types of cereals, juices, salad, bread, tea, coffee, cakes, and many different non veg options as well. Rooms were clean. Whenever we asked them to tidy the room, cleaning staff did it really well. Thanks to them. We saw many hardworking people, especially while serving breakfast. Thank you, everyone.

The sheets were not entirely clean on the first day when we entered the room. We saw few hairs. But, once we asked to tidy up the room, they changed. A big problem was the teenagers ( or maybe kids). Many school kids were staying in the hotel. They were very noisy. They would bang their doors ( or maybe having fun by knocking their friends' doors) at midnight. We couldn't sleep well. It's understandable that they are also the guests, but others are too. They will keep the elevator always busy. Apart from that, sometimes we heard the sound of some kind of drilling or vibrations. Maybe due to some construction or no idea. That was also around 11pm. Or maybe some party or music. Not sure. If you have deep sleep, then this hotel is perfect. If you have very sensitive sleep, then good luck.

it was ok, because we didn't spend a lot of time in hotel

room was ok, breakfast good, maybe we missed fruit, location quite good, but tallinja busses didn't stop every time on the nearest bus station, buses did not run according to schedule

view from the balcony in the room : according to the name of the hotel: Bella vista, we expected a view of at least the city, but we looked at the balconies of the other rooms in the inner built-up space

Great accommodation for the price. Hotel is cheap (off the season) and because of that I would recommend it. But I would

Hotel Bella Vista is in great location with very affordable price tag. It’s great for couple of friends that are on Malta mainly for travelling and use hotel only for the night. Although there were some ups and downs the staff of the hotel was very very nice.

Firat night when we came to the hotel we were said that hotel is overbooked and we have to came to another one (payed by bella vista). The next say we came to the hotel we have to wait until almost noon to get our room. That was very unpleasant because we lost a lot of time for our travels. The room overall was nice although all the equipment was really old and some of the stuff was broken. The AC was not really working so I cannot really imagine how everything works in summer. Breakfasts were kinda bad, I would rate them as 3 in rate 1-10.

It's okay for the price I guess. But definitely not four stars.

Breakfast was good. But even before your plate is empty, they already wanna take it. Orange Juice is not fresh and machine is not working half the time. It's like a flavoured water. The beds were uncomfortable and old, pillows too high and hold, you could feel the metal lining from the bed. Room is ugly. No drinks in the mini fridge.

Staff is great. Park across the street is very nice. Rooftop view is fantastic. Indoor pool is cosy (warm water )

Good location for me, I return year on year

I regularly use this hotel as it's away from the busy touristy parts of Malta and very close to the ferry to Gozo. Reservations manager is lovely and ready to help with an issue I had on arrival.

I booked a very last minute double room, on arrival I was allocated a single room and I was travelling alone, despite the fact that I had paid 60 euros extra for the double room. I understand the lateness of the booking contributed to this. Reception was very flipant and bordering on rude. Reservations manager smoothed things over and I left feeling much happier.

Was pretty decent stay.

Overall was a good stay, really simple hotel but everything went well. Nothing made my stay less happy. Also, a good positive point is the bus stop is basically in front of the hotel. The area is calm, not noisy which is great! I would return again for the quality/price.

The food is not the best, too much can food, and not so much variety/choices. Also the drinks (no alcoholic) should be included at dinner. But even that was not a problem for me.

Very good place during a quieter time of the year.

Staff, room, general facilities, cleanliness, breakfast - all good

TV antenna wall plug was damaged. I repaired it myself + next day it was exchanged. No drama. It was very loud, due to a lot of unsupervised underaged (not the language students) behaving rude sometimes. Didn't expect it like that; I blame it on parents. For sure, never going to stay again during any European school holiday season (stayed just 2 nights end of July, weekend)

Room was comfortable and clean

Restaurant had little different things and no self service. This lead to long lines. Also opening times were too early Pool with some sun beds but after mid day no sun. Roof top terrace with sun beds but no bar or anything up there.

excellent but...

amazing buffet breakfast. different kind of staff though. it seems like the high hierarchy staff are less nice than the rest. The cleaners and waiters were super nice, talk with kids and everything. while the host at the restaurant and some receptionist werent nice at all.

came to warm up a meal I brought home. staff didnt let me do it. apparently, no microwave. a little customer service skills would suffice.

It was OK considering the price.

The price was good.

The hotel doesn’t live up to its 4 stars. Property looks old; Air condition was on a schedule so the room was often uncomfortably hot, despite us complaining about this regularly. Towels and toiletries were not replaced and we had to ask for what was needed.
